Great insights into the Byrds career and solo flights. The Byrds were in the vanguard of creating Folk-Rock, Jazz-Rock, the Laurel Canyon singer-songwriter movement, Raga-Rock, Psychedelia and Country-Rock. They certainly were pioneering innovators that for a couple of years, gave the Beatles a run for their money. Fun & informative presentation!

The Byrds are my favourite american band. I've been listening to them since their very beginning in the 60's. Because of them I became a, say, fanatic for the country-rock style of music. So I became myself an avid collector of related albums of groups like The Flying Burrito Bros, Dillard & Clark, Manassas, The Desert Rose Band....... and too many from groups like Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, The Grateful Dead, Commander Cody & his Lost Planet Airmen, Poco, etc, etc, etc....... Yep, all those bands are good...
