These guys are brilliant writers and musicians. The singing is equally wonderful and evocative. I met them in my home town Marquette, Michigan and was thrilled. They are actually too traditional for Nashville and their songs are too crafted and "analog" for pop music. They are like buying Amish furniture. They area a high quality product that never goes out of style, but not available at cheap mega, retail store. I love these guys -- nothing like putting on their catalogue before a road trip.
