Very much enjoyed the video and learned much in the process. Nice quote at the end there, from the Lord High Everything Else himself!

I’d like to know what happened to my great uncle Jack Kiely shot scrambling through the window to gain refuge in the GPO. Did he die there? There is only a mention of him getting shot. Also the aftermath in how it divided my family is murky. My Grandad James was also in the Rathfarnham Cuman where was he? They were very young and gave up so much, yet they were never mentioned by my mother. My grandmother estranged him from the family. My mother talked of the Cairo Gang. Had some interesting things to say.

British surveillance tactics didn’t change much from 1916-2000. Methods were very similar at their core. Cairo Gang, G Men, Special Auxiliaries, to Force Research Unit, Special Branch.

Igoe appears to have been promoted only at the very end you are correct about o'carroll address, it was Manor Street, he was killed on 16 October 1920

In the photo off the undercover men on cable street one of them is looking up directly at the camera from a tea house doorway
