I gave up on marriage after waiting so long. I renounced my desire for marriage and told God I wanted to stay single and serve Him, but I needed Him to remove the loneliness from me. When God offered me a husband I said no, thinking it was a test. God said I am your Father, I am providing a husband for you, you will serve me better with him than alone. With the promise the loneliness left and never returned. I didn’t think I would have to wait 3 grueling years more for a husband (I thought every day was THE day I would meet him 🤣). Only God can say how you will serve Him best.

I had more peace now when God made me understood that singleness is not a "bad" state, neither marriage is a "better" state. Iused to think that if i not married im not fullfilming the christian life, and commited the mistake to use holiness as a means pointing to marriage, isntead of perssuing holiness for the calling of God to be holy in the image of Christ. Wheter im single or married, i am his and he is mine. I think churches should be careful on this and dont impose on young christians a false desire due to social pressure.

I completely understand your being puzzled. But if EVERY person married & had children, we'd have a major population problem. Not every person is supposed to marry & have kids. If so, why does divorce & orphans exist. But in Jesus' Perfect ways, He pairs orphans with married people unable to conceive. I myself have no desire to marry or have children. Jesus is beyond sufficient. I had deep desires for marriage & kids for over 20 years. But I Prayed IF it were not in Gods will I marry, to remove them. In time, my desires diminished & it's so liberating & peaceful. It's not for everybody. If you're meant to marry, God will ordain your partner. Who doesn’t want to get married if it was an option? I’ve waited for many years and speaking from experience Christian men are the worst, worse than men who are not believers. I have seen Christian couples divorce more often than other couples. God sets the lonely in families and Je had commanded men to go forth and multiply from the beginning of time. Muslims are doing that but not the Christians. That’s why they have been successful in changing the society and values, because of the sheer amount of population and influence that they have. Christians on the other side checked out on life and by and large unproductive in the society if not withdrawn. Christian women are left to do everything on their own; providing themselves, serving in church, taking care of of men who are babies, and not being protected/taken care of. It is a very sad reality but I’m afraid most Christian women nowadays won’t find a spouse in the Lord and so either she marries a non believer who has character better than a Christian or she remains single for the rest of her life and becomes a cat lady.

Seems like there are more women than men, especially in Christian circles. If more Christian women were destined to be married, every Christian man would need to be married more than once (hopefully in succession, and not simultaneously).
