I remember seeing this movie when I was younger and I couldn't remember the name or much about it but I recently saw someone talking about it online and decided to watch it again. I can't believe I wasn't more freaked out about it when I first watched it. Movie was good for the first 2/3, but the ending ruined it. The trailer however is horrible. They basically showed every major plot point from the movie. I'm happy I saw the movie before the trailer because there would've been absolutely no surprises or suspense otherwise. Trailers these days generally show way too much and this is the perfect example of it. No need to see the movie after seeing this, I already know exactly what's going to happen. A trailer needs to set the mood and peak your curiosity, not spoil the entire movie.

Diana Morlim I loved the ending. He got what he deserved. They didn’t really change personalities, they were in high distress and disgust. Anyone would understand the girls need for revenge. Even if it’s not the civil thing to do, it’s just a movie.... It’s a thriller, it’s not meant to send people a good message lol. Movies in general, there are so many movies that don’t send good messages. But they’re movies, the producers do whatever they want. Don’t look at them like life lessons. Some give those, some don’t.

You should try watching the Taken trilogy where Liam Neeson stars in, and his other movie called Non-Stop, these movies are just too good and the suspense always kills me lol. And Flightplan, Panic Room, and also The Lovely Bones. I have so much to add to the list but I'll just leave it to here. (you should watch The Love Bones first 😉👍)

omg this is so realistic. i remember when my mom forced me to watch this to learn how to take care of myself if i got kidnapped. it was first real horror movie. still scared to this day.

Learn how to take care of yourself if kidnapped? This movie doesn't exactly do a good job with that. How many kidnappers have paint in the trunk or taillights you can kick out, or trunks you can climb out of from the inside? It's not like that's every car in existence. The best kind of lesson would be BEFORE you get kidnapped. Just keep your distance from the guy, carry pepper spray (or a gun if you want to go with a concealed carry permit). That's the lesson to learn.

So unrealistic... The lady on the phone call the girl lying under the bed back while the man is still in the house. Then the first guy trying to help her decides to call 911 while he is still besides the kidnapper. Second guy trying to help her walks so close to him with a crappy weapon and then got burned obviously. There is also the lady in the car who is trying to take a closer look at him and ofc spookes him off. Then the 911 lady decides to go on her own, without even calling anyone at first. Then she picks up her phone and loose it down in the hideout where he is keeping the young girl. Through the entire film you see the police using a lot off time on everything else, except trying to find the car. At last when the 911 lady knocks the kidnapper out, she use so much time on everything else so the kidnapper ofc wakes up and tries to drown her. A person working for 911 would never just leave him there, even tho for the movies sake it can help make a second movie. Sorry for all of this, I know its a movie and it has to be interesting and thrilling, but i think it is too unrealistic for me and I had to just say it out loud because of the other comments here :)
