Great game but when I played it, it just wasn't that scary to me. I knew exactly when enemies would appear, how they would be hiding, because it's formulaic in that regard.

I liked the story, sad about the DLC conclusion. It basically screwed the protagonist to be in any possible sequel. Sad it didn't capture the fear and challenge of a Dead Space game.

Honestly, the cliffhanger ending for the main game as well as the bullshit ending for the DLC just come off as a big middle finger from the developers. You've got a base game that basically ends with "How will our dashing Jacob get out of this sticky situation? Cough up an additional 15 bux to find out!" only for the DLC to basically go "lmao he doesn't and nothing in this DLC matters because you actually just died". Honestly, that just comes off as so scummy I'm glad the game flopped.
