The Canine Condition Documentary Series S2 Ep.5 Dogs Of Georgia On My Mind

In this episode we are head back to Georgia. The dogs of Georgia keep pulling at our heart strings. This state has one of the highest euthanasia rates in the country. We learn more about the layout of the land and how socioeconomic status can sometimes contribute to the crisis. But we find no shortage of kind hearted, animal loving humans going out of their way each and every day to try and help end dog homelessness, dog abuse and neglect in this beautiful state. We find more organizations and programs actively improving the canine condition. We have made lifelong friends on this journey and together we truly see that where there is a will, there is a way.
This documentary series highlights the amazing, grass-roots work that people are doing to save and improve the lives of dogs in need all over this country. Through their stories and actions, we will show you what change looks like and what the sheer power of will and desire - not just money - can achieve. Throughout the season you see us take part in the actions that are saving dog lives. We volunteer, donate, foster, transport and advocate for new legislation. Every episode will leave the viewer feeling hopeful, inspired, educated and empowered. This is how we affect positive change and create the tipping point in our society: one story at a time.

That dog trainer to me does not care about dogs. When asked what does the love of your dogs means to you, she literally said, "Structure umm best friend umm because i give the discipline they can be my best friend, i can give them that love." That just makes you think dogs are just property to her. If they are not disciplined, then she can't love them or be her best friend.
