Just like when the nerfed drop shotting way back, if they nerf this, the exact tactics will change, but the playstyle will remain. People just don't want to play tactically because they're impatient, don't want to think, or whatever reasons.

@@fwg1994but I also think that nerfing dropshotting also did help in slowing down the siege playstyle. As did adjustments to character speed. I think they need to remove jiggly peaking and provide an accuracy penalty to people who are aiming just after sprinting.

@princesslightning5447 I'm not sure if it's the TDM that ruined the game, but I think it does take away from the fundamental experience of siege overall. Rushing and spawn peeking can be a viable tactic, but it can't be every round on every match. It's slow and methodical, and you have to play together as a team. The level of toxicity is way too high with this game but I'm also no longer built for multi-player anymore since I'm older and prefer a slow story based experience

Macie thank you you help feel like I'm not going crazy about the state of r6 I wish it would go back to were if I lost a game I felt like I learned some strat or angle but now it's just run and shoot my teams dead within the first minute and I'm waiting for enemy to jump out and then hide when I've killed half of them then find my way through a mountain of traps and probably dying to a c4 or random prefire when I plant

I think it's easy, watching Macie, to see people who push when they don't need to just to run the 50/50 chance of winning a swing but I think one of the hardest things with Siege's learning curve is getting over the instinct from literally every other shooter to be constantly moving forward. So much of becoming at least decent at Siege is just breaking that urge and being more patient than your opponent. That said, when these people are supposedly high rank, there's not really much of an excuse for the poor decision making.
