I like your gyros, but something that isn't explained by any of the manufacturers is what happens when the gyro runs out of travel/stability. For instance; the boat receives a large rogue wave from the side that exceeds the amount of anti torque and duration the unit is capable of, will the boat suddenly flip to the other side? Also theoretically, if the base the gyro is mounted to was also able to turn, could you not increase its duration for anti torque? Or could you have the base rotate also to accommodate for pitching also depending on which way the gyro detects rocking?

Also, is the total amount of torque counted from a full cycle from one side to the other, or just from centre line to one side?

Every gyro manufacturer has a maximum precession angle. This angle is designed to accommodate the highest possible range of roll for the vessel. Furthermore, our system uses adaptive precession.
