Personally, I prefer the Captain's backstory over Isaac's. Mostly because I think having repressed feelings for someone in the same regiment to be more impactful than having a passing infatuation with someone from the enemy camp and shooting him.

The thing that I like more about the Captain as opposed to Isaac is the fact that the Captain is more of a genuine character. He has genuine complexities, whereas the character of Isaac seems to be more of a stereotype.

It’s not a person, it’s the operation’s code name - Captain says so at the end of the episode, but it’s deliberately misleading as we didn’t know Havers’ first name at first

My dog.... BARRY I could have watched a whole series and some change about Cap. He was born,raised and lived,as well as died in a very wildly concentrated and complicated time in history.
