@@tlr-nut7275 ... I think you missed the point that those engine options are part of a package. Back in the 60s you could get a stripped down car from Ford or Chevy with a big block police package and dual exhaust. Requests became popular enough that Ford actually started making a "street rod" with a big block, "delete back seat" as a package for those who just wanted to go fast. Look up the Ford T-Bolt. (pre Mustang) Ford eventually saw the $$$ and turned the Mustang into the Shelby Mustang for quite a few extra $$$ as a package deal. Despite the "package deals" people were still able to order pretty much whatever they wanted if the factory made it. 4 speed and sway bars in a wagon? 409 4 bbl v-8 in a wagon? Sure, why not? Today? Given what rare Mopars get at auction, I wonder if this might be a good candidate for restoration. Probably walking a thin line between money into it vs money you could get back - I guess it depends on your skillset and how much you value every hour you'd spend on it. Then again, forget profit motive - how great would it be to just do the restoration as a hobby, have your son or daughter and maybe some friends help then just keep the damn thing?
