To me the wonder of watching all his 'tricks' is how the human condition is exposed. Watching each individual vainly trying to make sense of what is 'not real' before their eyes. I find it touching how we get reduced to a vulnerable state in such situations...like going back to a child-like state, pre-inculcation of adults telling us what is real, what we have to believe. Our sense of reality gets suspended whilst our ego frantically tries to put it back together again to make us feel comfortable with ourselves...and the lies we live with as 'normality'. Something like that?
