I got a PS1 as a kid and the first ever game my parents bought me was GT2 cause the original demo disc for the PS1 had GT1 and Tekken 3 on it. Oh the memories I can never forget!

I am from Europe. By then what you mentioned I stopped watching MTV for couple of years already. I think we didn't even had it as a option anymore on cable and some years later when we got back MTV and MTV2 I was like, good grief why does these channels even exist, erased them completely. Then again ran across it when I got internet television I had them in a free package and damn same shit again, the shows on there didn't even had anything about music at all, it was all just some "reality shows" one after another in circles about bunch of people I never even hear about, not even upon Googling them, they didn't exist. I went back to it here and there and always the same shit was on so safe to say I blocked those channels.
