The Carisma Shawl // Tunisian Crochet Shawl Pattern // DIY Crochet

This Tunisian crochet pattern is beginner friendly and creates the most cozy shawl! You will need approximately 1200 yards of fingering weight yarn. You will also need a 5mm Tunisian Crochet hook with a 22" cable.

Hi ! I'm looking for ides for Christmas, that could be nice for my mother. I already bought a ball of yarn with nice colours but it's a light 3, not 1. I'm a newcomer in the crochet world, I don't know how it will be different in terms of dimension and feeling on the shoulders (I'm sure it will be heavier, but what about drape quality ?)

Hi! I’m not sure if a light 3 would work - it might be a little too thick and not enough drape. Also, I’m not sure how many yards you bought, but this pattern will need about 1100 yards of fingering weight yarn. Hope this helps!

Is anyone having a hard time following this? I find it difficult. Its beautiful it seems but the baby one and our adult one just seems too far off. Skipping around, her demo is not centered, and I don't feel there are enuf details...is there a pattern offered?

Hello! I’m not familiar with left handed Tunisian Crochet so I spoke to a friend of mine who teaches it. She said you can treat it like a mirror image (increases on the left side instead of the right) and also recommended the following video: m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKbChqB4mdCNiMU Hope this helps!

I agree, very deceptive tutorial. She shows us how to increase and decrease but doesn’t say when to start alternating increase and reg TSS rows. I hope U make this correctly without that knowledge. I don’t have the money to buy your pattern 🤷🏽‍♀️
