Over three months into the carnivore diet with daily intermittent fasting, and the results are life-changing! Here are my numbers: * Weight: Down 30 pounds * Blood Pressure: Improved from 139/90 to 123/73 * Glucose Levels: Dropped from 123 mg/dL to 102 mg/dL * Ketones: Now at 3.0 mmol/L * GKI (Glucose Ketone Index): 1.8 This combination has truly transformed my health and my life!

I honestly think the REAL issue is parasitic infections that go untreated for decades and cause literal blockages in our digestive systems. Ask me how I know... I used to have SO many digestive issues and food intolerances, even symptoms of malnutrition/malabsorption and psychological issues like severe brain fog, anxiety, depression etc. I kept eliminating everything from my diet and wondered what on earth I'd be able to eat. I finally discovered the ROOT cause... parasites! And eliminated... hundreds. Now I can eat anything, I don't need to take digestive enzymes with betaine HCL when I eat... I don't get constipated, I don't vomit after certain meals, my skin is looking so much better, my inflammation has gone away and I could go on and on. Parasites are WAY more common than people think. When we were kids, we could eat anything, no problem. But then we get these infections and they grow and multiply and live UNCHECKED in our systems. I honestly think PARASITES are what are causing so many people to try and thrive on the carnivore diet. No fiber means no blockages. Mean also has lots of nutrients, and for the parasites that eat glucose, they probably starve and die and get eliminated.... so you feel better and thought it was the carnivore diet that's the answer, but the real answer is getting rid of the dang worms! They can be as long as 12 inches in our small intestines and tapeworms can be even longer. Liver flukes are smaller but they cause a ton of damage too. I really hope doctors start talking about this because millions of people would get instant relief with the right medication. Btw, when I say I eat anything I don't mean junk lol. I'm able to follow a balanced, organic, whole-foods based diet... with absolutely not digestive issues and amazing focus and energy. In case anyone is wondering what I did, I took 3 doses of Reese's Pinworm Medication (which also kills roundworm)... available in Walmart or Amazon, about $10/does... took one dose, two weeks later took the other, and a week later took another. The medication doesn't kill eggs, so the extra doses are for whatever hatches after the first dose. And I will be taking this twice a year (with my whole family) for prevention, and I'm also learning about natural detoxes to make my body as inhospitable as possible for these things. If you have digestive issues, this is probably the piece of the puzzle you've been searching for for years. It took me 16 years to find this on my own. You're welcome!

The first problem is people think it’s gonna be easy and it is not easy to get over your food, addiction and carbohydrate addictions. The first three months for me couldn’t have sucked more but once I got through that, changed my life in every way, nothing out of a bag of a box is worth feeling like shit.

Lost 50 lbs. in two years on carnivore, I'm 53 yo. two bad knees from my job as a auto mechanic. Didn't exercise one bit. Lots of energy and sleeping like a baby . Salt neutralizes oxalic acid and is one of the other reasons why they need an abundance of salt i.e. salt lick. The other reasons is mineral uptake to their bones and likely hydration. We can't hold water in the body to metabolize anything without salt and is said where there is salt there is water within.

Mind blowing how something as simple as just eating meat can be made to seem all but impossible. Talk about TMI!! This is so depressing. Look, if you want to go carnivore, just do it. Of course you're going to have some unexpected reactions. Listen to your own body and make your own tweaks and adjustments as indicated. Successful carnivores share a common trait, which is a sense of adventure and fun about what they are doing and a willingness to experiment on themselves.

I was forced into carnivore from degenerative gastroparesis. I cannot digest fiber anymore and it caused me severe fatigue, stomach pain and alternating diarrhea and constipation. I am grateful that it is helping lessen my symptoms but I have to take HCL with betaine and electrolytes. I make homemade LMNT and mix it with seltzer and I do some dairy but mostly meat and eggs and butter. I still have diarrhea one month into it.

Dr. Pierce is talking about digestion. You're talking about metabolization, not digestion. 🙄 So a person may have type 2 diabetes, for example, and doesn't metabolize carbs well, but they still digest it in the stomach and intestines much more easily than protein and fat.

Great info! I was doing really well for the first 4 weeks, then just a day or two of loose stool and a few days later, stickier small stool, just as you described. I did not know about the detox of lecithin. It didn't last long, but its nice to understand what my system was doing. Also hearing a bit about the collagen and connective tissue is interesting. I don't add a collagen supplement, but I do end up making and using a good bone broth each week. Omega 3s are another interesting subject. I've been trying to eat some fatty salmon and a 2 or 3 cans of sardines each week.

The 1st 2 weeks are the toughest, & the 1st few months can be tough. Some of the recommended supplementation to get you through the start are: • Pink salt, lots of it • electrolytes, especially potassium and magnesium (& calcium only while the body is eliminating oxalates) • Betaine HCL, all that meat is difficult on some people's stomachs • have a high oxalate food on hand, such as cocoa powder, almonds, or spinach, etc. to slow down the diarrhea that can happen from oxalate dumping • As recommended in this video for bile production (i.e. fat digestion): ox bile (there's also tudca), egg lecithin, and L-taurine • Also recommended here, some people may need some enzymes or an enzyme complex

I do not think you were clear as you jumped all over the place. First and I will be dogmatic a Carnivore diet is eating animal and not plants. It’s an elimination diet. Adding meat to your diet is not Carnivore. And it’s an almost no sugar preferably hight fat moderate protein to high diet. One should avoid vegetables oils as they are not animal based are they. I am not saying one can never ingest olive oil , coconut oil but they are plant based. As is coffee. Albeit many will not give up the coffee. Honey & fruit are no. There are reasons to be strict through the first month as you correct your dopamine dis regulation and get beyond your sugar addiction. One can not eat too much fat, it won’t be absorbed. Yes you will have loose stools if over eaten. Carnivore is not on initial implantation a ketogenic diet. A typical steak is two protein to one fat. You really want a higher fat to protein ratio because you will stimulate insulin secretion with the high protein. Unless you do not have a gall bladder it is very unlikely one is lacking bile acids. And pancreatic insufficiency is also unlikely. If you have these issues you should be reaching out to an experienced carnivore advocate who can direct you. It is extremely beneficial to learn the beneficial to learn the lies of our American nutritional guidelines and the deduct cholesterol heart hypothesis prior to starting. One must liberally use salt and if your over consuming fluids you are likely to drown your kidneys ability to recycle electrolytes. Dear doctor reduce your video it was a rant without clear objective teaching. Dr. Ginge

@@dorisvoo9743 Betaine at the beginning to increase acid then when you're towards the end of your moderate tohigh fat meal (2-3 bites left) take your ox bile salts and see how it goes. The acid is the most important part for most people because lots of folks who get their gallbladder removed (me included) over time develop a psuedo gallbladder that serves as a gallbladder. I no longer use either supplements and again I am without a gallbladder and am full carnivore with zero problems (absorpotion or otherwise).

You must turn everything from plant world to animal. This transformation have often very low efficiency, you can have problems digest plant foods if you have some missing enzymes etc. Here is no reason to turn something by your body, this animal made this transformation for you especially if this animal was ruminant animal. I've heard there is also pathology to suggest that vitamins like c are depleted when the body's cells oxidize, depleting vit c among other nutrients in the body, such as when the body suffers lots of inflammation. Can't remember what video or paper I read this in though, so correct me if I'm wrong. It's just one more reason why carnivores would have lower nutrient requirements.
