What do you guys think of carno? Is it perfectly balanced, too op, or just too weak right now?

Imo its too op. I could never counter it with Dilo or Utah and got so frustrated that Carno kills me all the time that I decided to play it. Now I kill every carni 1v1 also Cerato. Usually server is full of Carnos in groups and once they see you its game over.. I think charge should last for 2 sec and then it should have a cooldown.

Its not op. Its struggles against herbivore playables such as teno, diablo and stego. They need to make carno 1.8k again. Or even maybe 2k and need charge cooldown again this can help small playables to survive carno attack, and this make to think before to use charge

idk why, but the charge limit always bugged me, yet this version _definitely_ needs some balancing. Maybe making it so that you have to fully accelerate, or run in a straight line for a certain amount of time, would achieve a good middle ground?

@@zer0asanumber it is kinda powerful ngl, but it’s only good in the right hands and that’s what makes the playable unique.

@@zer0asanumber Eh, it's not awful. I've wiped them with dilo solo, and raptor duo. They're a breeze to kill as teno, dibble, and stego of course. A good cerato can handle them without too much trouble. The only hard thing is that they can spam their charge. But that charge only does max 100 damage per hit. Put a little bleed on them and then keep them moving (I find that running directly at them and dodging them head on is easier than trying to run away and dodge), they'll bleed out to a paper cut.

@@zer0asanumber raptors and dilos should not be scared to fight a carno if they just run away the carno will just spam the charge and u will die but if u do not let him use the charge and bait the alt bites u can win easily

i just started playing after a few years and Carno life is hard for me, I get killed by smaller dinos all the time. its hard to get far enough to do the charge attack and normal bites are pain.

I know the whole "It's fine against stegos" thing exists, but mixpacking is mixpacking and most people are hella diehard about it. Of course I'm all for it under the right reasons or even merely hanging with my friends but having "rules" when my buddies and I mixpack, but that's just how I roll when I do it. lol

Ya I understand where you're coming from and honestly I dislike mixpacking as well, I only ever do it if I encounter a herd too big to handle, for example in the video, there was nothing else to hunt at the moment so instead of trying to kill the cerato, which would've been the easier choice for me, I opted to help him fight the herd because that's the role of carnivores in an ecosystem. 😄That's how I see it.
