The Carolina Coastal crusies through Downtown Knightdale

Nice catch! It seems this stretch of railroad is used for car storage now, so it's good to see a video of a train moving through Knightdale. Who knows when a scene like this might be captured again. Short lines do often store cars, and it does appear the very train in this video is a storage car move.

@csxketh1 As far as I know this was the first time in a couple of weeks that a train has run on this part of the line. It was daily back when NS operated on it, but CLNA has no cusotmers on this part of the line. I think that the last one is in Wendell, and that is as far west as they nomally come.

@lovemytrains Yeah, and he also ran the stop sign after he caught the tracks. I bet the train got his or her full attention. There was a crossing with gates behind me and that person flew by in an attempt to avoid waiting for the train.
