@@alanstrom2221 Triple MMM aren't a true rock station. Bands like The Casnovas, Even and Airbourne are great Aussie rock bands. They can play ACDC, Powerfinger, The Oils, Rose Tattoo but the three bands The Casanovas, Even and Airbourne just get ignored.

I'm a massive CASANOVAS supporter, have been since I heard them as a support act down at The Annandale in 2002. I've just placed an order, half an hour ago, for their new album " REPTILIAN OVERLORD " I heard HOLLYWOOD RIOT a few months ago and I like it a lot. This new single RED HOT wears it's influences in plain sight and earshot as well. I won't name the bands, but I like all of them. In my ( humble ) opinion, THE CASANOVAS are better than all of them, except STATUS QUO, of course. I'll never forget one night after a CASANOVAS gig at The Hopetoun Hotel in Surry Hills, when I was talking with Tommy and a guy came up to us and told Tommy " you guys Rock!! " Next day I thought " that's like telling Barry Gibb that Saturday Night Fever is a movie about DISCO music " Anyhoo, I always wish bands and people like The Casanovas 'all the best '

For sure and why the hell not Patrick. I'd have to go thru the tracks to check, but there is one song where I exclaimed to myself internally that " hey that sounds just like a Paul Stanley 'lick'!!!!!!!!!! Here it is Track 4, " Lost and Lonely Dreams " Ace Frehely loves this song. The big difference is that THE CASANOVAS are a trillion gazillion times better than the Bands they sound similar to, except for STATUS QUO, nobody is that good, except for THE QUO, of course. One of the first photos I saw of THE CASANOVAS in the very early Noughties, they were wearing T-Shirts with Rose Tattoo, Status Quo and AC/DC. I'm one of the toughest music critics in the Universe and I rate THE CASANOVAS as one of the best Bands I've ever heard. Tracks like " St. Kilda is Dead " and " Mid-Life Crisis " are blowing my mind ( and the neighbours' ) on a daily basis. " I got an education, I even got a degree, insignificant schmuck on a minimum wage! "

The Casanovas don't sound much like AC/DC when you analyse it intelligently. That's a myth that's been perpetuated by 'lazy minded punters' who heard an ignorant journalist make the claim very early in the Band's existence. They are the same 'lazy minded punters' that claim that Adam & The Ants are a 'One Hit Wonder' I can name at least 6 Hit songs they had in Australia alone. The same 'lamebrain & lazy minded punters' that claim Flock of Seagulls were 'One Hit Wonders' yet they had at least 3 charting Hit songs in Australia. I bought the 12" vinyl record of "Space Age Love Song" & the 7" vinyl of "Wishing" The same 'lamebrain & lazy minded punters' that claim Status Quo only play 3 chords, when QUO actually play multiple chords and are two of the most versatile & talented Guitarists to walk the Planet. I think The Casanovas sound far more creative and diverse than any of the Bands that they've been influenced by. At the very least there's 3-5% AC/DC, some ZZ Top, KIss, Ted Nugent, Rose Tattoo, Status Quo, Motorhead, Turbo Negro, Cheap Trick etc. "The Casanovas Influences Aren’t Quite What They Seem" Whereas the above mentioned Bands deviate from what sounds good and effective, The Casanovas stay on track and don't change the necessary ingredients.
