Hi guys, Just learning about Mises, a bit of a late comer at 40 years old! Ordered a book called "Socialism" from Amazon which bears his name so looking forward to that coming. Quick question - Heard an argument, or statement really, saying that capitalism and anarchism are not compatible ideologies, I guess this is because mainstream teaching puts Anarchism on the hard left, to me, and through my recent research, it seems more likely that these two ideas are in fact natural bedfellows. Just wondered if there were any other books on the subject, or you own thoughts would be great?

Hoppe wrote A theory of socialism and capitalism which talks about capitalism being anti-government and socialism being pro-government and Rothbard wrote a essay about libertarians being anarchists. Man, economy and state of murray rothbard for sure. Talks about everything! It supposed to be a review of mises Human Action but became a new treatise in economics, it is better to understand and corrects some of mises mistakes.

Anarchism simply means a stateless society. The existence of both private and collective property are compatible with such a society.
