Nice video. I never knew those knives were out there. I’ll be watching for them. That story about the calf gives me chill bumps. You can feel God in it. God is so good. Over this Thanksgiving season we need to remember not to just give thanks but to be thankful. As you said, everything comes from God. Bless you brother.

Thank you so much for sharing your display case and your progression really glad to see things heading in the right direction. I’m not sure if this is any help but, this display case is in a page of ‘collecting case knives 2nd edition’ page 290 with a picture and a description. It reads as following: ‘In 1983, Case expanded their offering of modern stainless steel lockback pocket knives with the introduction of the eight patterns in the Pro-Lock and Dura-Lock lines. The Pro-Lock knives were premium knives with smooth wooden handles, brass liners, and nickel solver bolsters. The Dura-Lock knives were made to be lower priced knives, with no bolsters or liners and with molded synthetic handles. These knives were short-lived, the lines were discontinued in 1985.’ I really appreciate your video’s and always look forward to each up load. Nice case! You will find the best way to hold the knives in position without messing the knives up. I am hoping to find one in the Lord’ time that I can afford! It will be beautiful. Blessings. ❤️🙏

Those rare knives are the hardest part. I need 2 to have them all. Then I’ll do a video of cleaning them up and the display case. Ought to be a good video. I hope you can pick up one soon! Keep looking. Hope you have a very blessed 2025!

Hey Dwayne God Bless. Wanna let you know. That CASE XX display case is from an Earlier period! CASE company likely had some Left over Displays in a stored Warehouse . They Decided to use them up for this Run of knives. They just had the Card board insert made to slip in front of the shelves. I have an old CASE XX Display almost identical but twice the size . Mine is from the 1940s/50s. They probably last produced that type of solid Case Display sometime in the 1960s. I think yours is one of the later Runs. Best! Dwayne 🇺🇸

That’s my thinking. Who used skeleton keys in the 80’s? I have another that’s twice as wide. The board is missing in it but it still has the inventory sheet on the door. I'd try soaking that duralock in mineral oil to rehydrate and bring the color back! Awesome finds!!! I don't ever remember them!! Cool stuff brother!! Awesome inspirational talk and prayer!!

I was thinking the same thing, boring holes for the knives. However, i would use wooden dowels in the holes to hold the knives.

It’s really a thicker piece of cardboard. It already has a busted spot from someone taking a knife off of it. AW Customs gave me an idea to try and I went ahead and got the pieces ordered. Just a thought i would get rare earth magnets and glue them the the backside of the paperboard. Those magnets hold handguns so they will hold that knife!! Nice rare case knives !!

Great find, and great knives. Have you thought about putting a thin metal sheet on the inside so magnets would work on the other side? If the cloth part is thin enough. Thanks for sharing, be safe.

I don't blade you for not wanting to use double sided tape. Have you thought about velcro straps like they use for cords. I have a bunch and they are inexpensive. Thanks for sharing these cool displays.
