Ah! if we understand you, we think we possibly were not very clear in our writing - apologies! 😔 The woman was indeed murdered, but it was not the person they said it was! She had been mis-identified. It was some other poor woman! WHY the daughetr admitted to having done it, when she clearly had not as her mother was still alive and well, was the conundrum....🕵️

These were two very intriguing and yet "heartbreaking," cases of a man and a woman who were murdered for very different reasons. First case, Thrilled that justice was served because I thought the daughter was going to receive penal servitude, at first. Second case, I'm disappointed that neither two suspects were charged in this woman's heinous murder. Great investigating, presenting, backstories, illustrations, photos and videos, as well. Interesting murder stories. In the US, many murders are gang/drug related, especially in Chicago. I would say the next group is domestic violence. It's sad that people can not get along. Thank you for researching and sharing. ☃️🎄☃️

Poor dad, he must have cared for Mary. She was well-educated for her situation. He just wanted a better life for her, I think. Or he just wanted her as a housekeeper in his old age.
