I've received a few comments asking for more details on his conviction. As I stated in the video, the ultimate piece of evidence was the DNA but there were a few other things I should have mentioned. After he was interrogated, he made several phone calls from jail that were used as evidence against him. Also, his alibi was proven to be false which did not help his case. Ultimately, it was the cigarette that would lead to his conviction but these other small facts definitely helped push the conviction and should have been added to the video. Thank you for watching and please share your thoughts below.

For some context here. I knew Lisa and Johnny. I also went to school with and knew 2 of the people mentioned in the interrogation. Chris and Tony Watson. They were, and one still is, two of the sleaziest pos's you could imagine. Tony was murdered in an apartment complex parking lot a couple years ago over drugs. And Chris and another guy involved in the case, Zack Burkett, are currently extorting some poor guy to let them live at his house and sell heroin and prostitutes out of his home. The guy's dad died and he inherited his house . Chris and Zack use violence and intimidation on him to force him to let them turn his house into a flop house. These are the kind of people these are. Tony, Zack, and Cameo Pettaway knew Johnny. Cameo was linked with dna and Tony and Zack were also interrogated by the cops. At the very least Tony, Zack, and Cameo set Johnny and Lisa up to be robbed. They tried to frame Sam Williams and it worked. Sam was on the Eastside at the time of the murders, verified through his phone GPS and witnesses. The Eastside of Toledo is 30-40 minutes away from the Straub home and there's no way he could go commit that crime and be back at the bar he was at in the time frame they said. They also found unknown dna on the duct tape Johnny and Lisa were bound with. They still haven't found the person whose dna that is. Sam is innocent and the people directly or indirectly responsible are free right now. Everybody that knows the people involved in this case know who did it. But the cops in Toledo have no interest in reinvestigating to find out the truth.

Field stripping your cigarette butts and automatically sticking them in your pocket/purse is akin to putting your shopping cart where it belongs on a regular basis. Someone mentioned that maybe a stranger picked a few butts out of an ashtray and dropped one at the crime scene. I would argue that the suspect doesn't care enough about others enough to worry about looking for someplace to throw his cigarette butts.

If you don't have custody of your kids, you shouldn't have any responsibility to support them financially anymore, and the fact that you can even be imprisoned for it, there is essentially no difference in consequences for murder and only a flimsy moral argument, but if you can be released of your unjust responsibility then the beneficiary of your slave labor is hardly innocent.

Some of this information was obtained by these same detectives you see here, on the same exact night they interviewed Williams. Couple that with DNA and it's preeeety unlikely that it "just happened" to be his DNA at the crime scene. 2) The guy's talking about "tell me what I'm in here for and then lawyer." But he doesn't stop talking as soon as they tell him there's a couple of bodies they're laying at his feet. He is a veteran of the criminal justice system and this isn't his first interrogation. However, it could be that he's stupid and the detectives are good at their job by getting him talking at length prior to hitting him with a murder rap. Innocent people tend to vehemently protest their innocence when confronted with such a heavy accusation. Based on this video, I think he's guilty. I wasn't at the trial though. And if he had a high-priced lawyer defending him, maybe the outcome would be different.

@@oldmandoinghighkicksonlyin1368 I agree with you. I also believe he’s guilty, based on everything I saw in the video. His behavior during the interrogation was very telling. I was just curious about what else there was. I figured there had to be more evidence brought up at trial.

@@logosfocus doesn’t matter. If he just said I don’t want to talk, then the cop can keep asking questions. The moment they say lawyer, cops are obligated by law to go and get one or let the suspect call their lawyer. I have always lived in Perry county Kentucky and my maiden name is Jones and my family had roots deeply implanted in coal mines. I am the oldest grandchild and have so many stories to pass down. My grandfather Elhanon Jones Jr was murdered in 1989 but not before killing several during the decades before. My great grandfather, Elhanon SR, was also murdered while on duty as a deputy. His grandfather Borkin Jones, was killed on duty as a deputy. My great uncle Burton Jones was murdered and is a cold case and rumor is that he was mistaken for my grandfather. My paternal grandmother's side has it's stories as well. My maternal uncle, a Vires, killed a man in Knott co ky. My maternal great uncle, surname Kennedy, killed an old lady over cigarettes im told with a claw hammer. He is dead now but he actually escaped prison twice before died. And these are just the ones that cross my mind as I write this.

Just thought about an interesting article i came across recently. My great aunt Rachel Jones Engle murdered her daughter in law several decades ago but I didn't know details. The article i found says she killed her over an argument about the chickens she owned. Rachel then got dressed and started walking the 15 miles to the Perry county jail to turn herself in. She managed to hitchhike part of the way . She was in her 70's.

@quique77642 жыл бұрын
I don't know if that's all the evidence but I do know ppl have been convicted for less. That isn't to say they always get it right, they obviously don't. It's def. a very flawed system which benefits those w/ money to hire proper defense attorneys. Nvm that there is an inherent bias in the system which views men, women, people of color, or those dealing mental issues in very different ways.
