The choices in actors in this series is very good. Sackhoff was great in Chapter 18 - I like how she is the 2nd to refer to Din & Grogu as father & son, 2nd only to the Armorer. I like how the actors and director seem to get along, the joking back & forth was great.

Emily does a great job with The Armourer. I never saw her for a long time except for these interviews so I didn't know what she actually looked like underneath the helmet. I visualized the Armourer as an older woman maybe in her 60' or 70's. Someone who had been around and had a front row seat to the Clone Wars, the Mandalorian Civil War, and the times of the Old Republic. I saw her as a maternal figure to Din Djarin. That shows how good she is with just the voice and body language to portray a character so different from who she is in real life. They are all good at that. Very natural, often goofy, fun, sweet people playing these hardened serious warriors.

I actually had no idea who played the Armorer and thought she would have been older, to be honest. Ming-Na Wen playing Fennec Shand in her late 50's is, I think, a great example of an "older" (by Hollywood standards) woman still playing a bad-ass character. Until I saw Emily Swallows, I actually thought the woman playing the Armorer would similarly be someone a bit older.

I can't wait to see how much they delve into Mandalorian culture! With Great Houses, Clans as vassals etc, it's very medieval and makes the Mandalorians so interesting. It's also rich in storytelling potential - I'd love to see a new show set in Mandalore's past

No thank you. Please read the canon six thrawn books. Thrawn would not work with Gideon and his relationship with Palpatine before vanishing with Ezra was dire. He wouldn't want to help bring him back in canon, which Gideon clearly possibly does given his wanting for Grogu's blood. Anyway, Thrawn is only loyal to the Chiss and always intended to return home in canon, he's also in a race against time against the Grysk who are semi-similar to the vong of legends, they were about to invade the main galaxy just before Thrawn and Ezra vanished to what is likely the unknown regions which is their staging ground. Gideon will likely take over elements of his cloning arc from the legends plotline.

I like Giancarlo’s take, of course an imperial would resent and envy the Manadalorians and their dedication to purpose. The Imperials after all were a shadow of the Grand Army of the Republic and the Mandalorians were the template for them. An Imp would see the Mandos as pure if not archaic ideal of what they wish to be

I love the way they talk about their armor and the difficulties. I'm a proud member of the 501st Legion and I can vouch for their lack of visibility when it comes to the helmet. Wearing ANY armor for either a series like this, a movie, or just for appearances (We are ALL volunteers when we do our appearances) is an honor.

Don't get me wrong. I loves me some Katee Sackhoff as Bo- Katan. Voice and in face. But something about me still goes when I see her thinking Starbuck. Both great shows and faves, but I just can't shake off the Starbuck character. Also. I love how different Giancarlo is in real life other than a good deal of his screen characters. Always positive and energetic, rather than the stoic Gus, Stan Edgar or Moff Gideon types. love to see them work.

Me love Katee too. When I found out Starbuck was cast as a women....I freaked....and this was before the great Hollywood crusade to gender swap male roles. This was 2004. OMG she OWNED that role from the first minute of screen time. Love to see her on the screen again in a role that she is once again showing her talents.
