As long as Sam and Meg are together in the end. Man! I'm so mad this show ended. It's the best show on tv that will never have a proper ending. I really hope it's made into a movie or a spin-off, Netflix revival, or something!

Or how about a mini-series based on the show? That's what they are doing to "Heroes" (2006-2010, NBC) as they are bringing the show back to that network with 13 parts in 2015, so why can't they do that to "American Dreams"? If they did, I'd wonder how many parts "American Dreams" would have.

Curt Levesque It could all work seeing as how "Veronica Mars" is going to be brought back, and like you said Curt, "Heroes." I was writing a script for a miniseries/movie, but I hated it...I don't know. I just wanted to change everything, it got too convoluted.

TypeA88 "Veronica Mars" did come back already on the big screen in March of this year. And yes, I do wish NBC could bring back "American Dreams" sometime as a TV movie or a mini-series.

Several reasons; it was an expensive show to produce and NBC knew it had an audience but the ratings didn't support it enough to keep it going for another season, the network was stuck in last place and first-run syndication was too expensive. Plus NBC couldn't decide if it would return for season 4 and led the producers to believe it would return, then changed their mind. If NBC had a cable network like ABC did with ABC Family (now Freeform) it could've moved there. These days, it would move to a streaming service like Hulu or Netflix

Love American Dreams. Every Sunday Night, on NBC, the show would be here. I was really angry with NBC and still am, that they got rid of this show. Show had it all.

How about a big screen movie from Universal Pictures? The setting would be in 1976, the year of the U.S. Bicentennial. Philadelphia was where the show took place and that's where the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776. I bet that the characters from the show can celebrate the U.S. Bicentennial in such a movie. Please, make my dreams come true! No pun intended.
