I remember when Bern Nadette Stanis, and Ralph Carter came to Philadelphia for the October Art Gallery Festival and my daughter met them and took a picture with them. My daughter was only 7 years old at the time and now she is 23 years old, but I remember Ralph Carter telling my daughter to remember that she is beautiful and she is so intelligent and don't let anyone destroy your dreams. He was so encouraging.

I figured Sherri would ask about the reboot and I’m so HAPPY they agreed with “the people” and that the Netflix reboot was not what we thought! They should’ve done Jimmy and Bernadette’s idea in the beginning! I was born in 95’ but I LOVE Good Times! It needs to be done right if there is going to be a reboot. Great episode per usual!!

It's like Demond Wilson as known as Lamont Sanford on Sanford and Son trying to do a reboot of Sanford and Son without Redd Foxx, Whitman Mayo, LaWanda Page, Don Bexley, Nathaniel Taylor, Gregory Sierra and Raymond Allen as known as Woodrow, Fred, Grady, Bubba, Aunt Esther, Rollo,and Julio they're all dead it wouldn't been the same without them

This was amazing to see. I’m a 90s kids but Good Times was heavy in my house growing up! I feel like I’m watching my great uncle’s and auntie. Years later, we will be thankful for Sherri giving them their flowers 💐 while they are still here on earth to receive them. Sherri’s show is truly one of a kind! 👏🏾

Fun Fact: Good Times was a spin-off of the TV show Maude, which was, itself, a spin-off of the sitcom All in the Family. Mike Evans, who one of the show’s creators and writers, appeared on another sitcom: The Jeffersons as Lionel Jefferson. The Jeffersons was another spin-off on All in the Family, the show where the character of Lionel was introduced. All four of these hit TV shows were produced by Norman Lear.

I always wanted to meet Susan L Taylor from the moment I picked up my first Essence Magazine, bucket list, well I got a chance to meet and talk to her at the Essence Music Festival in the Crescent City, she was beautiful, humble, gracious and incredibly kind. My mom wanted to see her favorite singer kurt Franklin but the tickets were sold out. I remember sitting with my mom and this young man walked up to us and handed me two tickets to the show. Ms. Taylor thank you so much for that blessing, it meant everything to me and my mom. May Life continue to be you all the love, hope, peace and prosperity that your heart and hands can hold.
