She has some fairly awkward and high intervals to sing which require a lot of support and standing would give her the best chance of hitting those notes (better alignment/posture)

"She's not there" is because they don't notice her because the parent's attention was always on the brother, that's why she's the invisible girl. "He's not here, I am here" is because... ⚠️Spoiler alert⚠️ . . . . . . . The brother is dead but he's still he golden child even though he's gone and she's not.
