Joffrey had that affect to. Whenever he or homelander is in a scene there’s so much underlying tension that something could go very wrong could happen at any moment, and all those scenes were crucial to move the plot along

Most of the fans love homelander because he’s such a well written and well acted character, but that doesn’t mean they actually like him as a person LMFAO. Not nearly as disgusting as I thought it was going to be, I was expecting more tiny heros in urethras and definitely thought we were going to see Soldier Boy in weird sexual positions because of what Jensen said in the interviews I watched. That being said, this show is just so different from anything else I've watched and I LOVED the parody of "Imagine". Eric Kripke gives no f***s!

Interesting part why it feels like he's off is because your brain is now wired treat him like that. Homelander is really unpredictable, you never know what he's going to do. At times he is normal and sometimes commits atrocities out of nowhere. Thats why you are always on edge when he's on screen, because humans fear unknown and unpredictableness
