We are a very diverse mob here at the Alex Theatre coming from all corners of the planet and we all have respect for the land we now call home. We also trust our local indigenous leaders to clearly communicate the needs of our community. Can we make more time to listen to our local Elders, the answer is always yes, however, this is an age-old problem, we all need to listen more intently to the wisdom of our land Elders. As for the Alex Theatre, our purpose is to tell stories that matter, some for entertainment purposes others to provoke thought. It is a place of meeting, and we are open to all. Thank you for sharing your concerns.
