The Caste Of Humanity | Sathya Sai Baba experience | A Sweeper's Story | Kanakadasa Story

Ramayya was a sweeper in the Sathya Sai Hostel for Boys at Brindavan, Bangalore. When it came to the matter of his daughter's wedding, he hesitantly approached Swami, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, for blessings. It appeared as if Swami was ignoring him. But how can the Lord do that? He exhorts that there is only one caste, that of humanity. There is only one language, that of the heart. There is only one religion, that of love. And there is only one God who is omnipresent!
We see a repeat of the love showered by Lord Krishna at Udupi on his devotee (from a low caste), Kanakadasa. As we enjoy the goosebumps of the Kanakadasa story, we enjoy the sweet love in the Ramayya story. The delighted couple, Ramayya and his wife, learned about the wisdom and love of the Lord that day in Brindavan. The episode also clearly shows that God's delays are not His denials.

Thank god you didn’t curse me back then. 😄 When I would stand up to take pictures, often I blocked devotees’ view and prayed to Swami that nobody should curse! Thank you so much sister… it is all His love and grace… May we yearn for Him more everyday

Nice video. Had some very happy moments with the Ramaiah, Lakshmaiah twins while at the hostel... i don't know how many students remember, but they were so efficient and time‐bound in their job... Also used to love the fact that they literally used to sing their way through their tedious/monotonous/repetitive job through the day... Never gave one the impression that they were doing a laborious/boring/thankless job...always cheerful. Blessed are they...
