I became a C & W fan about a year ago. I discovered these ladies a few weeks ago, and they have increased my admiration for this genre. There are beautiful lyrics, melodies, and so many wonderful stories from so many artists. Finding new music expands the soul.

They played this with the whole band opening for Sugarland and Little Big Town in Grand Rapids tonight, and 5 other songs. Their set was over pretty fast but really glad I got to see them looking forward to getting to a full show . I was able to catch Spencer the manager before the show asked if they would be at the merch table like I heard they were at the first show of the tour in SC . He said they decided not to do that again, it probably was a huge overwhelming crowd.

Makes sense. I saw them at the merch table 7 times this year and they are always so gracious. At the big events it would be too much to ask. I do hope they do more headlining with the longer sets - more magic! ✨⭐✨ Spencer is a Darlin' .. says so on his hat :)

I could not agree more - after I saw the first show of theirs I've booked as many as I could fit in this year :) This was the first time they played it at a show - what a treat to have an acoustic version. They played it unplugged at the Jordan show the next day too :)

The mix in Malone had the most issues. Almost no electric guitar or fiddle on the right side. My friend went to the back for Hurricane and the left side had all the instruments. So yes the drums were loud with the direct sound that day where I was standing. Love Brad's drumming but the one-off venues had some mix issues. Wonder if Brad ever tried V-Drums, good for small venues? An option instead of a shield?

Brad’s a solid drummer. The supporting band is tight. V drums would be a tough transition to change to, especially live. Make sure everyone is well rehearsed if you make that change. It will change the flavour of the song until everyone gets use to the taste.

@@WICKD1 Yes indeed. I kinda like the louder drums at a live show up to a point (you can 'feel' it! a crack of the snare!). And for sure the expression with V drums ain't the same :) The gents are also nice guys whenever I've met them at a show.
