Hey Larry. Thanks 1x10^6 for explaining Cat's Whisper G technique. Question... @1:48 You mention something very key that Lynn Nicholson talks about extensively in his MF Protocol method -- unfurling of the lips. I asked him about exercises like the whisper G, but he said he hates exercises and just plays music. He didn't specifically address this unfurling in conjunction with any jaw-forward position practice to developing the supporting musculature around the lips, but he may have just done that naturally on his own in his early playing days. Lynn basically sums up the MF Protocol by saying it's the lips (unfurled) being available to vibrate in response to proper application of air. Would you say that this Cat Anderson whisper G exercise is compatible with the MF Protocol based on that summary of it, especially in regards to developing the musculature so that the lips are available to vibrate with proper application of air (compression), without having to jam the mouthpiece into your lips and which stops the vibration? You are one guy here on YT who compares different methods, and I'd really appreciate your input on this.
