Uniek is so good when Barney is sitting on her back - she's so gentle 😍😍😍! Barney looked really comfortable lying on Uniek - I bet that she's like a hot water bottle, especially with that baby that she's cooking 😍😍. It actually reminds me of a poem called, "Cats Sleep Anywhere", although I can't remember who wrote it 😂! Eefje definitely seems confused about the new 'growth' on her Mum's back 😂😂!

One of my favorite children's books was about an Arabian horse and his cat, which also rode on the horse's rump... KIng of the Wind, by Marguerite Henry, for any child that loves horses and cats. Barney moved to scrunch down exactly where the Arabian cat rode on her beloved Arabian horse. For a boy who loved cats and horses, a dream of a book.

The love between you and Uniek has been such a pleasure to watch over these past several months, Yvonne. Two of the most heartwarming events were when you found out that your followers had contributed enough to the fund that would allow Uniek to stay at the stables and actually belong to you. At first I thought she was your’s, along with all the other horses, as I thought you were the stable owner! Wrong! And of course the second event was when you turned Uniek’s heartbreak (& your’s) over the loss of her stillborn foal into instant love when she was introduced to Rising Star the first time. And how that story has warmed our hearts ever since. If you have time and don’t mind my asking, will Uniek ever be bred again now that she is your’s. I realize that it must be very expensive.

@@AndyFromBeaverton He sure is. Uniek also is very well behaved there is a lot going on. Friesians are usually pretty calm. A cat on her back, stickers everywhere, horses in the background, a dog walking around a human and another human around the horse. Great desensitizing work.

I've been telling my best friend about this channel for a couple years now and how much I look forward to watching the videos each day. He's been ill and in the hospital off and on for months, so I wasn't able to see him this holiday season. The hospitals here are constantly on lock down. No visitors allowed! As a complete surprise I received a package from him in the mail yesterday! It was a Friesian calendar! What a surprise and delight!

Cats and horses are often very good friends.I know a cat who had her babies in the hay box of a Shire stallion who, not to disturb his little friend litter, stayed at a distance and refused to eat from the box until given his meal in another container. He got back to his feeder as soon as the kittens were removed, few days later.

She's eating for 2 now, just loves those pellets for her soon-to-be foal. Wonder what Yvonne is going to name "her?" I think she should name her "Jane" after Dr. Jane Goodall who spent her entire career working with chimpanzees in Africa. Her photographer husband recorded much of her journey and then her daughter joined later. Yvonne is a naturalist like Jane, who's now 89 years old, and said in a recent interview that she had the "gene" for animals as Yvonne once said. Maybe name the new foal "genie" or "jeannie" as in "I dream of Genie? But I think this name would be out of order in Yvonne's alphabetic naming convention. Yes, Uniek is so colorful and has it all. We each resonate to certain themes in her trail-blazing life. Long live Queen Uniek and her herd of star followers.

Janet hedberg Senna is a she and that is her demeanor all the time,very subdued and calm(unless she’s following the cart outside when Rein drives)she’s also an older lady at about 12 yrs old so she can be very quiet too like many seniors.😄
