7:10 they dint go to the night kingdom to fight* Even though thay are called the "night warden wars". This a surprisingly common misunderstanding. I could explain all the reasons and examples, but a very obvious one is that Chasca literally says "I have never seen this before" when entering the night kingdom, but has won the pilgrimage 6 times. The night warden wars are fought across nataln in the real world, not in the night kingdom. The only way to get there is to die. (Or, temporarily project your soul there with the powers from the masters of the night wind. Or do what we did in act 2)

What the hell...? Go back and do the archon quest again the heck are you yapping? Night kingdom is a realm created by Yohualtecuhtin also where the Wayob resides. A liminal space between the body and mind, and life and death and is located deep under. Ancient Name bearers who die in the Night Warden Wars enter the Night Kingdom, from which they can be brought back by the Ode of Resurrection. Those who prevails in the Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame and who were ancient name bearers would be *sent to fight the abyss IN the Night Warden Wars* . Even the dead warrior gets sent to the realm wholly not just the soul. I mean dude... They legit showed us them entering the Night Kingdom physically. There was the crack which the abyss left when invading through where everyone entered the first time. Chasca literally said that she felt familiar and nostalgic. There's also these Nightsoul totems which sends us there for trials. Also... How are you even saying that even if they went there as "souls" or whatever and they forget the next they are in their physical bodies huh? Did you cook your own fact of their memories getting wiped out or sum shi?

Thank you for the pronunciation disclaimer. Just a note, “tl” is pronounced more like “chl”. Example: Natlan (Nah - chlan). If “tl” is at the end of a word, then it’s pronounced more like “chill”. As for the “x” in “Xbalanque”, it’s pronounced as an “Ish”, so Ish-bah-lan-que. I only know these from trips I made to Mexíco, where I learned how to pronounce words in Nahuatl (nah-wah-chill) (language of the Aztecs) and Mayan.

I'm pretty sure they say Natlan

I’m pretty sure the “g” in “Ngoubou” is silent. A couple African words having “Ng” in them will not pronounce the G sound, and I know this from one of my college professors.
