And he read Soren Kierkegaard. Percy was using his methods in such a beautiful way in The Moviegoer. It's my favorite book.

The best opera COULD save you. It could be a deeply spiritual experience that COULD even lead to a religious or spiritual realization. This, in fact, happened to more than 1 famous musician (often resulting in becoming Catholic or other Christian denomination) Conceptualizing 3 categories of humans doesn't seem very Godly or loving or unlimited. Perhaps this gentleman is representing Kierkegaard inaccurately. I look forward to sampling Mr. Percy's work
