Excellent speech. The school of Ahlul Bayt has the most exemplary and perfect role models from 124,000 prophets including Adam-Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, David, Soloman, Jesus, Muhammad and the 12 Imams. Religion should make us proactive on Earth to promote good and forbid evil.

How do we know where the truth is? The Quran praises companions of the Apostle. That is where it must end. Rest are stories based on hearsay written down much later than those who were not eye witnesses. Why do books of Hadith not cover the Shia/Sunni conflict? Conjecture has no place in deen. Buyers beware!

Believe in stories that match the Quran. Do not speculate or add spices to it according to sectarian agendas. Again, buyers beware!! No we don't find Ghadeer anywhere in the Quran as it is detailed in books based on hearsay written down years after the supposed events took place!

Which Ghadeer speech is being referred to here? Take extra Quranic stuff that has been fed to you out and it becomes clear to who these words were addressed to and why: This is what 5:67 says: O APOSTLE! Announce all that has been bestowed from on high upon thee by thy Sustainer: for unless thou doest it fully, thou wilt not have delivered His message [at all]. And God will protect thee from [unbelieving] men: behold, God does not guide people who refuse to acknowledge the truth. Again, buyers, beware of secondary sources material collected in sectarian versions based on hearsay several generations after.

Why don't you do us all a favor and find it for us in the Quran, my friend. We reserve the right to judge all secondary source material by Al Furqan. Feel free to do the same to rid yourself from sectarian fabrications.

So the Quran says stay away from sectarianism and Allah ordered the Rasool not to have anything to do with those who divide their faith into sects, but you say, too bad. We have to live with it. No we don't if we stick to the Quran alone and not allow our opinions to be tainted by sectarian fabrications and reading them into the Quran. Any interpretation of the Quran that results in a contradiction, needs to be reconsidered simply because the Allah says since this book is from Allah, there is no contradiction to it. Quran calls believers Muslims, no labels, thank you very much. Be a Muslim who makes his business to judge all secondary material according to your sincere study of The Criteiron.

Simple. Allah presents His Word to you and expects you to use your brain to study and comprehend it. You make sure the way you do it does not contradict any other verse in the Quran. Apply your sincere understanding as a student and be willing to grow as you learn. Sorry, no priests or middle men between God and man in Islam. It appeals to your reason. Use it. Allah trusts you enough to present His word to you. Study it. Leave aside sectarian scholars who read controversial version of sectarian fabrications into the Quran. Otherwise you will be caught in a whirlpool of sectarianism. The Ahmedis claim their Khalifa is appointed by Allah and interprets the Quran. The Ismailis do the same. The Shias have their Imams and the Sunnis have their Imams and Shaikhs.
