Of course they’re preselected. These outings are giving ideas of what to do if YOU were out in this kind of situation and on how to use what you find to keep yourself safe and alive. Just cuz you’re not out having these adventures doesn’t mean you need to criticize others for having and sharing them. Keep the negativity out and just enjoy the scenery.

But…if there was no place out there to fall upon…? What would you do? How about traveling around in the woodland and find nothing to hold up in? How about finding nothing to make something out of? Pretty sure this guy would fall on his face and freeze to death! He needs a shelter in place to put all his predesigned stuff in place to work. So stupid. This is not survival…this is preplanned survival techniques, with a solid plan to start with. People don’t strike out into the wilderness without a plan of action. This is most definitely a plan ahead of time. And it’s effin’ stupid! Dumb click bait. It needs to be blocked.

Not sure about others but I would have put the stove by the door with the stack facing away to keep the cave from filling up with smoke. Then the cave inside would been nice and warm rather than doing all of what he did outside the entrance of the door. Be a lot warmer inside. And cook inside which would have added to more warmth. Just my thoughts.

That stove didn't draw very well but it was better than not having one of course. Nice video, wish I was in better shape, I really miss camping out, even in extreme weather.
