Man I played this my freshman year, I'm a junior in college now and listening to this piece again brings me back to when i first fell in love with band and the trombone itsself. Its a passion I truly feel I'll carry for the rest of my life. I remember hearing that sax multiphonic for the first time, so cool!!! Real ones remember measure 79, such a cool line

My band class is playing this for our high school spring concert and our band teacher was student teaching and learning to become a band teacher from Dr. Golden who made this piece which i thought was sick and she’s also directing this piece for our concert!!

I play alto sax and this piece is one of the few concert arrangements where we’re featured, I played it for assessment and we got all superior ratings and we’re playing it again for our end of the year concert. It holds a very special place in my heart I love playing it so much

Played this for honor band, and i didn't realize that the "growling" was a sax, i thought it was a trombone or something until we practiced this together for the first time. Also one of the trumpet players got to scream during the trumpet "monster sound"

I just got home from the Kentucky All-State Band and I remember Mr. Graves mentioning having conducted the Georgia All-State...what other pieces did you play?
