I feel like one of the few black people who doesn’t care about “black” hairstyles on non blacks. Like I get that whole “they’re getting celebrated or not hated for it when we are” thing. But a lot of the time I feel like that’s blaming an individual who probably doesn’t actively contribute to that societal view on it. Like wouldnt more people wearing and spreading these hairstyles contribute to it being seen less as an “underclass” thing? Idk always left a weird taste in my mouth to be bothered about it not that I don’t get it.

Song was dope. Used to rock with Ceeman heavy, and havent watched for a minute. I dont remember him being such a bouncer of the culture. I will never get how someone can get pressed over someone else having dreads. Im not discounting there is culture behind it but you controlling how someone styles their hair because you think they 1. arent from the culture and 2. dont understand the culture is wild. Personally they could be oblivious to it all and id still support them doing what they think makes them look good. TLDR bro just seems so bitter now and I dont fw that.
