Ive played guitar my entire life. The cello has always been calling me. Now in my mid 40's, I just started learning to play and I obsessed with it. And I realize now that it was the instrument I was meant for. So please..if you feel a calling towards this instrument, don't put it off. Find a way to make it happen. I actually traded some guitars for a nice cello. This guy is a genius.

What a fascinating film. Thank you for sharing. I was so impressed with the work room. It must be a wonderful place to work. Watching the sharpening of the chisel brought back so many memories of my late father, who was a cabinet maker.

You could probably perform heart surgery with those chisels they look so sharp! You are so passionate about what you do it's wonderful to listen to. Must be an extremely fulfilling job compared to sitting in front of a computer all day in an open plan office!

I've known many a professional musician to take a second mortgage on an instrument. I paid 14k for my cello, I saved 10,000 and my family helped me with the rest.
