I am so glad I found you. I’ve looked at so many tutorials… but you are by far the easiest, clearest, and best to learn from. I made my first hat ever and I am 65 yrs old following a different one of your videos and already plan on my next two also of yours. I really appreciate what you do, how perfect your instructions are. I’m not great at reading patterns so for me following along with you works so well. And your voice is soothing, clear, and enjoyable thanks for all you do… you’re my favorite

I just finished making this hat. For me, it was a little trickier than the Divine hat, and I had to pay closer attention to what I was doing. Especially when I would set it down and pick it up again later. It was well worth it, as the pattern looks awesome! I only put two rows of ribbing as I had a couple of extra rows in the Celtic Weave pattern. I thoroughly enjoy your way of guiding people through projects. I hope that you will add more hats into your mix! Thanks a bunch for your work! 💜😊

Watching your cooking videos and unboxing I saw you were wearing this amazing cables hat. I scrolled your channel for ages last night without success.... guess what? KZbin offered up this video I might like!! Mind reader or what?!?! I hadn't searched for it in words..just scrolled. I love it, its awesome I HAVE to make at least one...and I've got a ton of aran yarn (size 4 in your terms) I'll just have to concentrate on doubles = trebles; trebles = double trebles. I never knew you coukd cable crochet

Please keep this video on for awhile. This is my fourth try from the beginning. I have learned that you need the right yarn and the right needle to do this. You can't use real bulky yarn and a normal needle (?) meaning a little smaller than other. You have too much bulk. I am excited to try again. It is a beautiful hat. I will need it because I have a lot more grey hairs than I did when I started this! However, on the bright side, I feel I have created and developed many more brain cells as well. Oh, dear!

WOW...My name is Ken and your instruction was "dead" on easy....once I viewed the entire stitching frame....I caught on to it easily. Always remembering the two slip stitches in the beginning of each row...in order to position the pattern correctly. This is a fantastic and NEW STITCH for me. But I tend to catch on fast with a photo memory that I was gifted with. I have been waiting to find a fancy pattern like this to crochet, I usually stick to it until I am finished. I could do this in an evening for sure....being comfortable with the pattern which will allow the finish quickly. Thanks very much for the perfect instruction all through this video. It will be great to start back in with new styles to get my inventory back up to par. This will also be a great pattern for matching scarves. Happy New Year and again THanks! Ken Orlando, Fl., USA

My 14-year old grandson is making this hat right now, and he is loving the weave! However, that being said, he has had to repeat rows 5 & 6 four times so far, just to get it down to the top of his ear. (He crochets a bit loose, so he first tried it with an H hook, but soon pulled it all out and started again with an I hook.) His hat has almost stopped ruffling, but now it's starting to curl up at the bottom edge. He's anxious to get to the brim, hoping it will pull it all in. Nice tutorial. Thanks.

Mr Spider: thank you for this tutorial!! ❤❤❤❤ I used the Celtic Weave stitch in a scarf and wanted a matching hat but had never done CW in the round or with increases/decreases. To All: _TRUST HIS METHOD_ - he'll get ya there! He shows the tricky parts multiple times, which I'm so, so, so grateful for. It seems that some creators seem to forget that in order to rewind, we have to release a hand from the work. When learning a new and/or complicated stitch, I'd much rather fast forward after I "got it" than disconnect a hand from my work before I'm comfortable with the stitch. All I can add, which goes for Celtic Weave flat *or* in the round: it's okay to dig into those stitches with your fingertips to find where to properly insert your hook. Unless you're yanking and pulling for dear life or sticking your finger to the knuckle through the stitches, you're not gonna hurt anything. Go ahead and separate them there stitches. 😉

Work out fabulously! Thank you for noting that it doesn’t look right for several rows. Thought it was going to be huge. But it all came together, yay!

It looks a little intimidating but once you get past the round 6, it’s pretty straight forward. Love this pattern and you give excellent tutorials.

This is the first time I have ever tried Celtic Weave and you have made it very very easy to follow. I have NO idea WHY I grabbed a skein of Black yarn to try this. I guess if I have to learn something and pay careful attention what better color to learn with. I have learned so much from watching your videos. LOVE how this is going. :) cant wait to grab a color I can actually see after I learn what I am doing.

Lady your are so bold! When my daughter asks for black I tell her is it Christmas yet? I’ll do one a year in black alone. Need color added otherwise lol
