i'm an old fan and i loved this one was fun and tense. the cenobites stole the show once again. like the new Pennywise was an imporvement, this new Pinhead was expertly cast and I'm interested to see more. what an unusual voice too! excellent work.

Just watched it and I gotta say, I'm very impressed. I think the new film was better than Hellraiser 1, and is equal or better than 2.

It has to do with the casting/presentation of the characters. The first Hellraiser was an incredibly transgressive film - it only makes sense the sequel should try and do something similar for this era. (Whether Bruckner lived up to that expectation - I will leave up to you to decide.)

At first I thought the leading cenobite was Kirsty because the comic books showed Kirsty becoming a cenobite. I am a super fan & I really want to see the OG cast again. Ashley Laurence as Kirsty and Doug Bradley as pinhead. It's my dream to see a movie where they return and to see Kirsty become a cenobite It would bring the franchise full circle to the original film.

Especially because the ending and hat it showed…. You could basically do a backstory on how each of the Cenobites were created and how each human like Voight interacted with the 6 configurations. They only showed The Mother for 2 seconds, I’d like to know what that Cenobites backstory is and if the baby inside has been Cenobited. There is so many options to run with! Happy Halloween

As a fan of Hellraiser, the cenobites are not what make it what it is. They are a part of it, the cenobites become what they because of how they were as person and the sin. Demons to some and gods to others, it's a play on sin and lustfulness. The Order of The Gash is much more then people think and have seen in the movies, the main drive of Clive Barkers work is body horror and shock value, which I feel he does amazing at. It's like other authors, they all have their very specific type of style of monsters/killers that they portray. Play Clive Barkers Jericho and you'll see what I mean, and FEAR, John Carpenter has his own style killers/monsters, it's more of eerie, it's all about style of story telling and who the threat is. Edit: First of all, the cenobites don't care about gender or anything about that, it's the pleasure, the sadomasochism is what powers them and all brings others that open the lament configuration, they aren't fueled by evil by a beacon of pleasure in terms of Gash. In short it's sin, sadomasochism, and pleasure that drives at least The Order of The Gash.

I think it's unfortunate they included here the clip of Jamie Clayton saying, "I'm really impressed with what they've done, just to have the racial diversity and the LGBTQ+ diversity." The diversity she's talking about is present and obvious in Riley and her crew. That is, Riley's brother Matt and his boyfriend Colin are LGBTQ+, Nora is part Vietnamese (or at least the actress is), and Colin is black. While for the Cenobites, it's not at all apparent who's LGBTQ+, but The Weeper is played by a black actress. So I *think* that Clayton is talking about the actors in general and not the Cenobites specifically. I hope this helps!
