Korey is a MIGHTY human being. I'm sure the documentary didn't depict everything he endured. Korey isn't walking around in anger or seems to be at peace from the outside looking in . That in itself is incredible to me.

I feel for these men. It was tough to watch the movie without taking it personal. The actor who played Korey did so well to the point i felt like I was in his shoes. Glad these guys are alive and well to tell this story. The fact that it can and still does happen til this day is sad! #blessup

No matter where they go or live, they should give them the fifty million plus all their retirement should be taken care of and any college if any they choose to go. In other words they owe them immensely.

Yussuf should run for a government official in NY. Maybe Mayor 1st of NY. So scary no amount of money could compensate these brothers for what they went through. My youngest son had an ordeal with the police but nothing like this. I feel also for their parents.

No money. I see the end of these realities splattered on the front page about being falsely convicted after 20 or 30 years served. This mess is by design because cities like Chicago are so willing to give millions of dollar payout for being wrongfully convicted.

@@elaineanderson4891 I am not sure where you are coming from but these innocent young men went through hell and cities that allow prosecutors to sail through cases and tag any one remotely in site just to say they solved the case should compensate these victims. Everyone has the right to the pursuit of happiness and a fair trial.

@@sasw77intwo It's too commonplace that something happens like this when people in the judicial system knows these people are innocent. In the past 7 or 8 years in Chicago, there have been payouts for people who have been convicted of crimes they never did. I feel like there is a reserve for things like this to happen. No amount of $41 million dollars is not enough for timed served for something a person didn't do.

Yusef is highly intelligent. Surely he could take more time to show more appreciation and gratitude to Khorey for how much he suffered in the name of just be a supportive friend to Yusef. I have never seen a friend that suffered more in support of a friend. Yusef should be more vocal in praise of Khorey. I just don't see enough public humility from Yusef. Khorey ultimately saved them all. They should be shouting from the rooftops in praise of Khorey. They all suffered but Khorey suffered far most.

Yussef´s mother was so strong but if she also showed up for the boy that tried to save her son, the police could not have build the case or fake it. I do not try to blame a mother of a victim but if we use our privilege for people that stand up for us we become stronger!

Yeh that hurt my heart too..she didn't know he was there and Yusef was so shook up he forgot BUT she should have shown more compassion when she did learn of Korey doing that and wore t-shirts that said "Yusef AND Korey are INNOCENT" Korey was down with Yusef and as a Mother I would have been Mama Bear for Both! They Both my boys at that point! Friends like Korey are hard to find! Korey said your mom will kill me if I don't go with you! Such a sweet soul and I would have had to give that same love back as a mother! Korey is a True Angel and that is why he was able to survive what he endured! They couldn't break you Korey!!!

My god how you have held it together today must be challenging but you are strong inside and out and there can never be enough justice for you. @@ChichiKekeocha Jay walking is defined by walking/crossing in the middle of street and not crossing the street in the crosswalk. Also, if you are at a crosswalk and a person walks in the street without paying any regard to traffic signals when it is time to walk.
