I think the directors/writers are confused - this isn’t a romantic story line - it’s a horror that perpetuates abuse. It’s possible to forgive, but not forget & returning should not be recommended. For those interested I did see a variant of this script where she ended up with what initially appeared to be the 2ML who was loving, supportive & a great step father as well as being tough enough to protect & defend FL.

I am really tired of these stories where the man is so mad if another man even talks to your ex wife or wife when you bring a whole freaking mistress to live in the house that you live in with your wife and said mistress is hanging on your arm every time you turn around ....... We need a drama in which the ML goes to jail for domestic abuse right after a good punch 🥊 in the old noggin and a good kick in the rear and front where he can’t walk for months .. right before he goes to prison for five years Didn’t watch this drama they all are the same ML hypnotized fool for 2FL and all her lies and heap abuse soon FL and allow everybody else to abuse her while he walk around with 2 FL leaning on him and treating her like a delicate flower ( yuk) and sometimes make her get abortion even if it’s his child not to mention kidney removal without anesthetic or bone marrow transplant from FL not to mention draining her blood like a vampire 🧛‍♀️ as hospital dr and nurses and everybody else watch the domestic abuse and do nothing to help her Except the dr in love with her who usually gets beat up by jealous abusive ML who abused FL while at the same time keeps trying to have sex with her and mostly never wants to have sex with 2FL but will abuse and kill for her oh it’s not forget how ML must punch her after she on purpose hurts his delicate flower the 2 FL but then the truth is revealed FL was telling the truth she is the one who saved him when he was drugged or saved him when they were kids He discovered 2FL likes and actually Murdered his parents And she did all the crimes he accused FL of doing .. but does he abuse her no .. well maybe a quick slap and then orders her taken to police station He beat FL senseless and she was innocent and one slap ton2 F l who actually committed all the crimes and he does nothing to her .. he shocked that FL was pregnant with his biological child the same baby he made her abort or miscarried because of his nonstop abuse And ML has nerve to be jealous if FL even talks with Andy male person while he struts around with evil 2 FL on his arm or sos Ernie’s have impregnated 2 F L Well I think that covers it I’m sure I left something’s out but that alone is endings for me to watch for dramas without this junk Haven’t seen this drama but I’m sure it fits my description to a tee

This drama has cracked me up. Not denying the abuse she suffered, but it’s funny how he became a dad when it required saving the child’s life, but he was then relegated back to uncle as soon as that happened. She’s standing there saying after two years separation, they aren’t a legal couple. He didn’t separate from you honey, you pretended to be dead. Not the same thing. These scriptwriters would have us believe there is no legal system in China. A, he’s still the father of the child, B, I’m sure it’s against the law to declare someone dead, when they aren’t. Mr Guo only needs to go to court with his case, and she would probably lose her daughter and the doctor would probably end up in prison. I find that much more nonsensical, than a stupid woman returning to an abusive man. After all, she is clearly stupid. when she hit that woman and ran to the bathroom, she didn’t bother to pick up the knife. It gave the woman another chance to kill her.
