Thanks, Colonel Cirino for your VERY impressive career in the USAF and the superb job of describing the Citation. Incidentally, I did much of the cockpit human factors design work on the CE-500, which I described in chapter 4 of my book titled "Air Safety Investigators." Hi Dr. Diehl, it's very interesting that you worked on the CE-500 design. What was the maximum pilot height you considered when designing the cockpit? I'm 6'2" and find the 501 cockpit to be pretty snug but comfortable. I was always under the impression that when the CE-500 was initially designed, the thought was that it would be flown professionally primarily by ex-military pilots, who at that time were rarely taller than six feet.
