That hill is the same depth i take in back of my home just to leave every ride lol Nice ride!

@WintJames it's very deceiving on camera. It's literally almost 90 degrees straight down. I need someone to film from the side to get a good perspective of it. I watched the video and was like wtf. Doesn't look that bad, but in person it's like holy $hit. Lol. I appreciate the support. Ride safe bud. I'll see you on the trails.

I keep thinking this doesn’t look that bad, but then I remember that the hills are always much much steeper in person. When I go back and watch my vids of hill climbs, it looks like the grade is cut in half. The cfmoto has me intrigued. I have a Polaris right now. I do like it, but when it’s time for a new one, I’ll to check out the cf. I’ve been on kind of a rabbit hole on these things.
@Mud-Sweat-Gears5 ай бұрын
@dcunited01 I hear ya. I went from polaris to cfmoto and did my research very carefully being a certified small engine mechanic and polaris tech. I still love my polaris brand for sure but my Overland has certainly impressed me so far. And I agree about the videos cutting the grade in half. You almost need to use a phone and have someone standing at the side of the hill to get the real depth of some of these hills.

@@Mud-Sweat-Gears I have a 2016 570 with only about 65 hours on it. It runs perfect. I think I could get some decent money for it. If I were to upgrade to a CF, what would you recommend? I’m no mechanic and I haven’t been riding my whole life, so I’m sure you know better than me, I kind of bought the Polaris because I didn’t wanna pay for a Honda.
@dcunited015 ай бұрын
I’ve heard Polaris is junk from people, but I really like it. I also know people can be very brand loyal and have no hesitation to put down other machines, so I don’t know what to believe. I feel like many of the brands are good. The CF seems like a good value. From the videos, people seem to be really surprised at the capability.
@Mud-Sweat-Gears5 ай бұрын
@dcunited01 I'd say, if the polaris is treating you good right now, then stick with it. I'm a firm believer in if it ain't Broke, don't fix it. But if you want to trade it in for a CF then that's up to you as well. You could almost trade square up for a new 600 or 800 unit here in Ontario at the right dealer.
@Mud-Sweat-Gears5 ай бұрын
@dcunited01 every brand is "Junk" in one sense. It's just a matter of time before they become problematic. No different than Dodge vs Chevy vs Ford vs GMC. People stick to their brand like a pair of Nike sneakers vs a $20 Walmart budget brand that can and likely will outlast a brand name. It's all about maintenance and proper riding style to maintain a machines reliability and longevity.

Been looking for a solid phone mount for my sportsman xp1000s. Would you recommend the one you are using?
@Mud-Sweat-Gears5 ай бұрын
@michaelrobinson103 I love the one I'm using. Had it three years now on my polaris and now my Cforce. Never any issues with it. RAM mount. I got mine off Amazon. Holds my S23 Ultra phone with a huge case on it.

Better use it easy,or its going to be broken,my 22 overland 1000 ,in the last month, yup warranty just ran out ,has gotten a new rear differential,1300 dollars, a new driveshaft,300 dollars,and now its either the final drive out put on the transmission or the transmission itself,the money saved at initial purchase over a canam is now spent, do i beat it ,,no its not beat or been in deep mud or water as ive feared it was weak from day one,,only 72 hours and 700 miles mostly dirt road use,no hauling or work,,good luck with yours
@Mud-Sweat-Gears5 ай бұрын
@keithbelz2346 ya unfortunately, some are just lemons from a Friday afternoon build. Can happen with any brand. I'm fortunate enough to have no issues so far and can fix my own machines as I'm a mechanic, but I get what you're saying. Sucks that you've had issues with such low hours on it. Hope it works itself out for you. I appreciate the support and I'll see you on the trails. 😎
@keithbelz23465 ай бұрын
Yeh I work on mine also ,the parts alone cost that much. If I had a dealer do the work that's another 130 dollars per hour,,the rear differential I had old out and new in in about 4 hours,the driveshaft took over two, now when I get time it's tearing into the transmission that won't be easy unless it's the final drive that comes off with just 4 bolts after removing the driveshaft again,,, keep up the video work you have some nice trails where you are,,must be Canadian country???

Well as a canam tech can say I’ve seen canams that are the same way lol so don’t be fouled by their bigger price , I’ve replaced transmissions on new outlanders , with under 1000kms , which were all stock and not abused , I’ve replaced more rear diffs on canams then I can count , and replaced quite a few power steering units on new canams and I could go on , not saying cf moto is better just saying canams fail two , I own a 2022 cforce overland and have owned almost all brands , the low price and curiosity got me to try cf moto , so far it’s been great , but I also ride less then I use to , and gave up the deep mud and water riding lol as working on atves and side by sides every day i rather not add more maintence to my own machine then I have two by riding it in the deep mud , and water
@Mud-Sweat-Gears5 ай бұрын
@Saskatchewan1984 I don't blame ya for avoiding the deep mud and water. It's more fun to ride instead of fixing lol. And yes every brand has its own issues for sure. I agree 100% with that statement.

Also gonna throw together a "best of" The ATV trail from hell episodes.

You are creating a channel,same with mainville, adventure this way and all the others that do of road even eh tv, they all have a intro and the introduction is part of the video,I say keep it up and keep doing what you are especially the scenery, heck take us on a little Brook trout catch and cook adventure

@keithbelz2346 Thanks Keith, I appreciate that. My kids love the intro and to see them stop what they're doing to dance to it is in a memory in itself. And I agree the scenery is the best part of shooting any of my adventures. I am working on a best of the ATV trail from hell special and likely gonna throw together an adult only episode with all my blunders, bloopers and foul mouth scenes for a Friday night watch for all my amazing subscribers out there. I love what I do and wouldn't be doing it without all of you guys and gals. I'll see you on the trails my friend.
