This week at the chateau, Ash and Tony learn a new skill and give the two new sets of gate posts at each end of the road a coat of render to finish them off which look amazing, plus we finally get to fit the new pair of gates at the entrance. it has been almost 10 months of work to create the road by hand but it is almost finished and it looks incredible.

About us,
We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.
The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.
Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.

You need to reduce the traffic noise so you can enjoy being outdoors. Maybe a hedge or possibly a wall to block the sound. You have a beautiful home, you don’t want your serenity disturbed by traffic noise.

In hindsight it always seems easier, but after having watched ALL your vlogs, I know that every little step was a massive job. Keep in mind that there were no construction companies involved! I returned from France on October 3rd without any idea about what was going on.(with Lalacelle)I wanted to look into château’s in France and stumbled along this wonderful family and their journey. I have binge watched all the episodes starting from the beginning, completing this one yesterday. I personally am glad you're getting sponsors. The money for the restoration is going to cost A LOT and has to come from somewhere. If a channel I like advertises something I need, I will buy from them and I always watch the ads for at least 30 seconds. I cancelled my Netflix subscription cause I get much more fun at KZbin. The quality of the videos has improved so much in the last decade. Btw, since I follow several channels who do building/restoring houses I've watched people promoting the same products as you do and Ash does a fantastic job at promoting. It's obvious he really has thought about the advantages of the product - although I have no idea how he managed to keep a straight face when promoting this buy-a-title company.

I had a dachshund when I was in high school, so if you think those gates will keep Patrick in, forget it. Dachshunds can dig their way to China. I really like those gate posts. I like the way Terry used that broom to dapple the plaster and give it character. You might be able to get power openers for the gates that have solar hookups, unless you want to run power all the way down from the chateau, with remote control for your mobile phone.
