Allan, Luke, and Zoe get together to talk about Battle of the Eras Episode 5. We talk about the Michele & Devin Showmance, the Vacation Alliance, and then about Laurel throwing the daily challenge. After that we breakdown Laurel & Michele's encounter that preceded that big blowup between Laurel & Cara. We then finishing off by talking about the massive elimination upsets.

If Laurel wants to play the game by throwing challenges, that's OK but I totally agree with the podcast hosts, own it, don't get upset that Nehemiah made you are target, you put him in harm's way into an elimination. That is what I like about this season, the winner's of elimination get a little payback.

I think this edit was more about protecting Laurel than Cara. They edited it so it looked like Cara started everything. Threw in the flashback from 13 years ago and only showed confessionals of Laurel's friends. It was really disheartening.

Hey guys, thank you for how empathetic and thoughtful your reactions were to this sensitive material. You handled it perfectly. I think it’s worth noting that Bananas and Cara recorded the podcast in the days after this argument, most likely following the couple of days she spent away from the house. So when yall noticed his confessional and the fact that he seemed over Laurel’s theatrics in that elimination, it made me think of that.

Laurel confuses me as she claims its not personal and her game play is very calculated and deliberate, but yet she brings up "you threw me in elimination during Rides or Dies" which comes across very emotional. Yet Laurel then says Cara should not be upset about Laurel throwing Cara into elimination. Very, Very, Inconsistent.

I don’t agree with airing the full argument if the subject matter went to that dark place. However, we could’ve gotten confessionals stating Laurel went over the line or something. It makes the whole story seem so disconnected which is not what you want on reality tv. Also, Tina killed that elimination, that’s it.

The stuff wasn’t aired because allegedly Laurel gaslit Cara on her past abuse by Abram and Kyle(. Open criminal case). Laurel is evil for gaslighting a DV survivor

Apparently the fight was so bad and lasted for nearly 20 minutes. With constant security interference and that other cast members were disturbed and horrified by the things laurel said to her. She brought up DV with both Abraham and Kyle like detailed. Basically making her relive the abuse. As someone who has been through DV and leaving that person. What laurel did was way to far. I’m glad people were there for cara though

I really do like that Devin includes talking to Tori before making a deal. Also it sounds as if Devin does not make long term deals, it's more like short term deals that benefit him or his team "now".

You will be the only recap I'll be watching from now on because everyone else is delusional and thinks Tina just had the best technique, even after other challengers said it was worst than last weeks elimination. The wall was rigged for tina to win to keep Era one woman there so it didn't mess up the targets and theme of the show till they change it. Emily got robbed of a 6th win and should never come back because the show is a joke now. Producers are probably just doing this for ratings because that was so blantant and dumb. I have two eyes, that was the worst one of them all. Thank you all for being objective about the elminations and telling the honest truth. Your take on Laurel was great as well, she needs to take a break or never come back. We are missing good people this season like Ashley Mitchelle (Which I don't like) Wes, Fessy (Don't like either) Evenlyn, Landon, Sarah Rice, Theresa, Nelson, Zach, Jenna, Hunter, Turbo, Rogan, Joss, Susie, etc like big heavy hitters. Josh? really???

Nelson had his right leg amputated below the knee due to a car crash that he caused by drinking and driving in 2023 and i dont think he will ever be able to be on the show again because he legit blamed the production team and wanted them to pay. He got on a podcast with Nany and dragged the production company and the show itself and lastly ive never seen an actual amputee go on the show before cause the logistics would be very difficult for him so i really don't think we are gonna ever see him in there. It's sad but at the same time don't drink and drive. Karma cause he ruined his own life.

Are people NOT going to mention how the producers 100 percent helped Tina. THERES NO WAY TINA BEAT EMILY. You have to be BLIND to think it wasn’t. They screwed over Horacio and now Emily. Also Laurel and Cara argument was watered down. Supposedly a lot more was said and Ryan was involved too.

Well I agree with you on the Emily and Tina thing. I disagree with them hurting Horacio. He even said on Derek's podcast that he did not listen to the rules and he wish he had. So that is his own fault. They were all told the rules. He forgot one of them and he lost so he may have beat himself but it wasn't production that did anything. It was him and he admitted it.

Here we go again with the Victim Cara. Walking up to Laurel to start. another round ofLaurel is being mean to me..”poor me why aren’t you on your knees worshiping me as the best”. That is why she has a hard on for Laurel. Why is Michelle pushing Laurel to be her friend? Well at least Cara finally washed her hair. Who.ever head on dying nasty dirty hair .. on the other hand,wow for Tina,raked them nails down. So sad C.T. Lost it he handled it with class.

I didn't say it during the podcast, but this elimination showed why using the Hall Brawl, Pole Wrestle, and Balls In all to start kinda hurt them for the remainder of the season. Haha.

Based on what was edited, it looks Laurel isn’t trying to mess with Michele. Multiple people said Laurel was playing a hot and cold game with Michele and yelling at her and making her cry, Cara did insert herself for sure, but based on what Emily, Tina, Ryan said because of Laurel being triggering and just ugly, a behavior that Cara was also having.

@@s.r6331 Ryan had mentioned that he was friends with Laurel between AS4 and Season 40, but that it slowly changed over time that he started to agree with Cara's POV and there were issues because of Nicole.
