Ice abyss is so good for farming if you can pull mobs 1 by 1 but recently after continuous dungeon a lot of new people would agro the entire module and die and you respawn in their place but you have to deal with 10 mobs at the same time

I haven't finished the vid yet, but if you haven't yet, there is a room in ice abyss with 4 pillars and a health shrine. Each pillar has a good chance to have a gem on it. I found a legendary diamond on that. Also, loot piles are good, and there is one in yeti cave in the ice cave.

Welcome back, Wilson! I did a season SSF and crafting requiring a lower tier item of what you are trying to craft really ruined it for me. Why make a crafting system reliant on RNG when you can just RNG better gear by bossing etc. I'm wishing you the best of luck on your return

Hey wilson, good to see your content again! Just a heads up in terms of gems one of the best places to get legendary gems is the Ruins Boss piles, they have 4 treasure pulls instead of three and I get a royal gem almost every boss kill or at the least every other kill, keep up the good work!

Slayer fighter needs a significant buff to find its place in the meta again. I’ve mained slayer for several seasons, and I keep realizing that they’re either slow rogues or weak barbs. Basically anything else in the game is a hard counter to slayer, so it feels bad because it’s my favorite way to play them. Maybe if dual wield went back to 15% action speed and slayer and swift got rolled into one perk, that could help start fixing the problem.

I class hop a lot but I have more hours on Slayer than any other class / fighter archetype. PDR fighters are objectively better as the native benefits of slayer start to become relatively mundane compared to what regular fighters/barbs/rogues have in higher tier gear sets. But there's something so fun and rewarding about the slayer play style.

Youre very right about it not being a high skill esports fps -kinda game. The game was altered towards to make it "bigger" and more profitable but it's kind of like a game wearing another games skin. This game should've been made with the mindset to keep the seriousness to that of Valheim, dayz, rust, or project zomboid. Complete wrong direction esportsifying it, it should have dayz or rust like player interaction instead it has valorant enemy player interaction.

I just think there was a point when it blew up hard and had like sodapoppin, mendo, sumit and xqc on it when the devs and the large community influx of twitch viewers decided to make it a ranked, clout, leaderboard skill reward game. They tried to add a Moba ranked grind to this goofy fun skeleton dungeon game. Dark and Darker should not be incredibly sweaty by default which it very much is and was incentivized to be by a lot of factors. Everyone takes the game so seriously and hypercompetitive ingame. Dayz is a game where you can lose hours and hours of work in a second yet the whole point of the boring walk sim game is player interaction there's no ranked points your gear only matters to give you more enjoyment for fighting another player not to make your score go up. Everyone understands they're playing the game to fuck with other people interact with them maybe make a buddy and go fuck with someone else and make them lose hours of work, it's a loop that facilitates fun and interaction. Dark and darker feels like an overwatch quickplay now, where guys run around and kill each other and say nothing (Not enough slurs, mom plowing, and begging). Anyone this is also coming from someone fairly good at comp games not a Wilson dadgamer btw. Im a topish Smite player (very cool right) played minor league comp, but point being I am very open to competitive games dark and darker shouldn't be that imo. If you read this all that's wild and sorry.
