The Changing Face Of Cardiff's Transport Network

In the next few months, Cardiff is going to be going through major changes to their railway network that will see older units move onto parts unknown and a raft of new units and changes are brought in for the biggest upgrade in years
So we headed along to Cardiff's two biggest and major train stations to see the older side of Transport For Wales before the changes come in which will see the older DMUs replaced by newer EMUs

Cardiff Queen St & Central are both great stations as ive done both of them last year & im glad to hear that the new bus station is now open i def a need a visit to Cardiff in the future brilliant vlog

I think it's fair to say that the Sprinters have served the Valley Lines very well, but the Flirts look impressive as well I also have fond memories of 37s and ex Virgin mk2s working some of the Rhymney services in the early 2000s

Cardiff Central and Queens Street are nice stations. I'll miss the sprinters when they are replaced but the FLIRTS are good replacements. 197 112 getting a red card from the goose for bowling a 153 was hilarious. 🤣
