@patrickcalabro87186 ай бұрын
People are civilians and not soldiers. The sergeant is requesting silence and not demanding it! Spectators are standing up, being respectful, and not breaking any laws. This is still a free country, and a little chatter is permitted. At least they have the respect to attend the ceremony, and I don’t see you there. People have the right to do as they please, and we are not in North Korea, China, Russia, or Cuba! Cry someplace else, PLEASE! thank you 🧑🎤 🏁 👩💼👩🎓

The following is not meant to demean your sentiment: As a former 6 year Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force, this level of human precision is certainly something to behold (and even more so from Tomb Sentinels). However, "imitating robots" and forging the discipline to perform precisely timed movements while maintaining military bearing at all times is completely different. Sailors, Soldiers, Airmen, and Marines are men/women with families, backgrounds, and stories of a life lived.

@maksimstarostin95162 жыл бұрын
